Green Fire CrossFit is proudly women-owned, established in 2014, and has built a reputation as both a CrossFit affiliate and a certified Hyrox affiliate. The gym is dedicated to offering fitness experiences that meet people where they are, whether they’re training for competition, building lifelong strength, or simply seeking a healthier lifestyle.
Programs are designed for all ages and stages of life. The Legends class helps adults 55+ stay strong and mobile, while youth classes introduce kids to fitness in a fun, safe environment. Green Fire also offers sports training for individuals and teams, building speed, agility, and endurance to elevate athletic performance.
At the heart of Green Fire’s success is its team of highly credentialed coaches, certified in trauma-informed and athlete-centered approaches, gymnastics, nutrition, and Olympic weightlifting. Their expertise ensures safe, effective, and personalized guidance—and has helped athletes progress all the way to the CrossFit Games, the pinnacle of the sport. It’s where strength meets community, and athletes rise to their fullest potential.

Owner
In 2014, Trista Long took ownership of the CrossFit affiliate she had been a dedicated member of for two years, transforming it into a thriving community rooted in strong values and box etiquette. The gym’s journey began in the vault of an old bank and ultimately relocated to the White Township Recreational Complex, where members now enjoy indoor turf and secure outdoor training areas. Trista holds extensive credentials—including CF-L3, CF Gymnastics, CF Anatomy, CF Trauma-Informed & Athlete-Centered Training, GGS Certified Women’s Specialist, Precision Nutrition Level 1, and USA Weightlifting Level 1—and her leadership has guided athletes to achieve success at the CrossFit Games, the highest level of competition in the sport. She is passionate about fostering confidence, connection, and transformation in her athletes, a commitment recognized with the Young Athena Award in 2023.

Eric’s CrossFit journey began in 2016, when he was searching for something more rewarding and unique—and what he found completely changed his life. The constantly varied training across movements and domains kept everything fresh and delivered exceptional results. His passion for learning technique and efficiency soon grew into a desire to share that knowledge with others, leading him to coaching. Now a CF-L2, Eric has discovered that coaching and cueing athletes is even more fulfilling than his own personal accomplishments. His career in Banking Operations complements coaching perfectly, as both demand precision, consistency, and the ability to help people reach their full potential.

Known in the CrossFit community as JP, he began his journey in 2011 at the age of 55 when CrossFit was introduced to Indiana, PA. A lifelong fitness enthusiast, JP faced health challenges after a cancer diagnosis at 50 but returned to training and quickly became hooked on CrossFit. Today, he is the longest-standing member of Green Fire CrossFit, a CF-L2 coach, and a proud representative of the Legends Program, inspiring athletes 55+ to improve their health, stay active, and maintain independence. JP was the 8th fittest man in the world in the 2021 CrossFit Games Masters 65+ Division, showcasing what’s possible later in life. He continues to be a powerful advocate for seniors, and we couldn’t be prouder to have him lead by example.
CLINTON
Coach
Clint’s CrossFit journey began in 2011, when he transitioned from doing his own workouts at the gym to trying CrossFit for the first time. After that initial class, he was immediately hooked—the group training environment was motivating, fun, and filled with like-minded people working toward their fitness goals. In 2013, Clint began coaching CrossFit classes, and the role has proven to be deeply rewarding. He has witnessed countless athletes flourish both inside and outside the gym, and his greatest goal as a coach is to help people recognize their full potential and capabilities. Clint takes pride in supporting others as they build healthy, active lifestyles and discover what they are truly capable of achieving.

Corey is a licensed Physical Therapist specializing in performance training, wellness, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and exercise programming. He is passionate about CrossFit’s methodology and is dedicated to keeping members healthy, strong, and pain-free so they can stay active for life.

Chase discovered CrossFit in 2016 through the Veterans Recovery and Resiliency program with Mission 22. Encouraged by his wife, he overcame initial hesitations and quickly found strength in the supportive community. Just six months later, he stepped into coaching, driven by a passion for refining technique and sharing knowledge. Chase’s coaching style is personal and motivational, celebrating every achievement and helping athletes break through mental barriers. Certified in Personal Training, Corrective Exercise, Performance Enhancement, and Nutrition Coaching, he empowers members to build confidence, prevent injuries, and reach new milestones. For Chase, CrossFit is more than fitness—it’s a network of support and success.
